The headquarters for Goodwill has been completed. The building provides a new workplace environment for administrative staff and engineers who build and maintain the industrial kitchen equipment that the company provides to its clients.
In developing the design for the workplace environment, we studied the possibilities for applying soft landscape for every architectural surface of this building. We developed details to provide for plants to grow on roofs, ceilings, stairways and walls of this building.
For the facade of the office and warehouse, we first made a 3-month study of climbing plants to be applied as an architectural screen. After completing several mockups, we were prepared to design the detail to allow climbing plants to grow alongside the 2 and 3 storey buildings.
