T House in “Houses by Thai Architects”

To mark the publication of the book “Houses by Thai Architects: Volume 1”, an event took place at the Thai Creative and Design Center (TCDC).  Jariyawadee and Udomsak were invited to present the T House project in Khao Yai.  How would we describe the design of this 400 square meter house?

As a residential project, the design emphasizes simplicity in form and space.  The layout consists of 2 interlocking “bars” that resemble the letter “T”.  All the openings of the house face the mountains.  Overall, the house is in dark grey tones to resemble the color of these mountains, which form the overall scenery of the Khao Yai area.

“Houses by Thai Architects: Volume 1” is edited by Nithi Sthapitanonda and published by Li-Zenn. You can find more information about the book here.
